Samurai Deeper Kyo big WTF I just saw the first 9 or so episodes of this series and i was like WTF? I mean, it starts like the manga at the begining, but then it continues completely differently. WHAT IN THE HELLANIME < MANGA ___________________ The Dragons are Gone! |

I use to hate the anime but after fully watching it I love the series. btw I cant wait for Samurai Champloo(from the creators of cowboy bebop) |

You know those monsters called Kenya or whatever in the anime version? They are nowhere to be found in the first 18 volumes of the manga version. It doesn't follow the path of the manga at all (cept the fact of the two personalities and Kyo wanting his body back and the characters and stuff, cept Mangolia or whatever his name is doesn't appear in the manga, and another major character in the manga doesn't appear in the TV series, and of course, the 4 scared of the skies are not even mentioned (akira, kyo, that fire dude, and the guy i mentioned that doesn't appear in the animer version). Samurai Deeper Kyo Anime version isn't all that bad, but the manga version kicks it in the ass it's not even funny. oh, and remember those two bimbo nurses that get killed by Yuya? They get killed by Akira in the manga version. edit : here's the guy that never appears in the anime version next to Kyo. and the fire dude, with Akira, they combine the 4 scared of the skyes  you should read the manga version, it's really good. ___________________ The Dragons are Gone! |

I still need to see this series. My friend gave me the box set awhile ago but I didn't have time for it. So it is on my list of series to watch in the near future. |

I liked the series a lot but I haven't read the Manga. I really can't stand it when the take out main characters and add in a few lame ones. It reminds me too much of Rurouni Kenshin and them not putting Inishi in. ___________________
