Favourite gaming battles

I thought that the OOT battle with ganandorf and Ganon was fantastic as well as the battle with Shadow link

I liked the ending in Devil May Cry where Dante and Mundus fight, that was awesome. Another favorite was the fight with Seymour at his Zombie form in FFX. That was pretty cool to.

If I remember correctly, the Krusha is the right name. I might be wrong.

Everybody calls him King K. Rool.

1) Samus vs Mother Brain - Super Metroid

Link vs that snake-like boss in the sand - The Wind Waker
Snake vs Sniper Wolf - MGS: TTS
Pretty much any boss from the Contra series - you figure it out
Samus vs Quadraxis - Metroid Prime 2
Samus vs the plant boss - Metroid Prime
And last but not least, several fights from Final Fantasy. Yay.

I have to say, the Metroid series has the best boss fights, easily. Zelda is second. I like the cutscenes from the MGS series, but the actual boss fights totally suck, for the most part. Fun to watch, though.

Another one, I just remembered was the battle Sora and Sephiroth, I saw Pojo's post, and was like "oh, I forgot that" (I don't have the game anymore..... it was a rental, but that fight was great)

The Metroid Fusion battle of Samus vs Ridley is nothing compared to the 3D mayhem of the Metroid Prime battle.

The 3-D Ridley was the weakest of all the Ridley boss fights. I just didn't like it all that much, except for the music. And the part where he flies around.

Giant Link vs. Twinmold. I was so hyped for that fight, with me being giant and all.

Link vs. Bongo Bongo. The entire Shadow Temple was nerve-wrecking, and Bongo Bongo was 10 times as worse.

Am I the only one that thought the Meta Ridley boss fight in Metroid Prime was really really easy? I beat him on my first try without even losing half of my energy tanks...probably the easiest boss in the entire game except for the first one.

Ok, favorite new battle. From MGS3 even, woo.

So I just beat The End yesterday, a boss in MGS3. Scariest thing since Resident Evil. He's this old fart who's, eh, I think 100, and he's about to croak any minute. He lives to fight one more worthy opponent, you see. His profession is a sniper, and he has some wicked camo. His eye pops out so he can see better, I guess. Anyway, when you meet him, you're in this huge section of the jungle that breaks off into three separate paths. He hides high and away and blends in perfectly, so it's really hard to find him. If you make a false move to alert him, you'll hear him say something and shoot, so it's pretty freaky. The only way to find him is to a) let him shoot and use the map to find his approximate location, or b) use various goggles, or the microphone that magnifies sound (which I used). So anyway, I pointed the microphone in random directions when I heard him mutter "this is the end". I frantically switched to the sniper rifle, only to find nothing. I went back to the microphone, and I heard him breathing. It got louder and louder, then I heard the grass rustle slightly. I figured it was a Snake or something, so I continued pointing the microphone. Out of the blue I heard his voice very clearly, and he said something along the lines of "I haven't had a battle like this in years." I tried to turn, but it was too late. The old fart was right behind me with his rifle pointed straight at my back. Scared the living crap out of me. Suffice to say, he killed me. I eventually beat him a few tries later, but it was an amazing fight. It was like something out of Predator, great stuff.
