Super Probotector Alien Rebels Can anyone remeber this little gem? Unfair difficulty, oversized guns, unlimited ammo, pumpin' tracks, giant bosses with impressive sprite manipulation...this game was fun on a plate, and was rarely taken out of my SNES. That's the European version of Contra if I'm not mistaken. I believe they switched the main characters with robots so that it wouldn't look as violent. In any case I'm quite certain that it was due to censorship, and other changes were made as well. Anyway...yes, Contra is awesome. ___________________  |
