WAT? Just from the opening parachute sequence intro you can tell it's more polished than the first one, which was plenty of fun with friends and family. This is what Wii Sports would have been like if it wasn't a launch title (and had better motion controls of course).

You're capable of more things with the Natal then you are the PS3 motion controllers, which is a hybrid between the Eye Toy and Motion Plus.

Also Natal is further along than the PS3 controllers due to the fact that Burnout is already capable of using Natal and dev kits have already shipped to developers. People have already used Natal where no one has used the PS3 motion controllers.

Also PS3 sucks. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Natal is nice and all, but like Adam well said in his blog

The big deal surprise thing Microsoft threw out was Project Natal – which is essentially their controllerless, voice recognizing response to the Wii. A few applications of it have potential, I think, but the ones I liked the most were the more practical ones. Making voice calls and being able to pull up information from the web and share it while talking was cool. Pretending to kick a ball by kicking the air was less cool.

Thinking it over and over again, I just can't see how a controller less game can be fun. Except you looking like a giant douche in front of your TV. at least with the wiimote and ps3mote you can have something physical in your hands (and even more so with the analog stick on the ps3mote instead of the nunchuck like the wiimote)

The only argument that makes more sense in that little explanation is the fact that Natal is farther along in development than the PS3 motion controllers. But that doesn't make it better.

The PS3 motion controllers are actually capable of one to one movement, the motion plus is not. The Natal tries to be a motion capture suit and voice recognizer thingy. How well has voice activated stuff worked in the past? And how many games are you going to really be able to play without buttons?

I'm not all down on the Natal, but I think the PS3 motion controllers have a lot more potential.

Natal is more interesting as an interface device, you know like some Minority Report bullshit.

Yeah that's basically what I was talking about when I was talking about the more practical uses. And you're right, the Sony thing is basically a better Wii, but I can see that being fun for some things.

I really don't think it's like, the future of gaming with controllers going away or anything.

Going off the videos there's a noticeable lag and seems to wack out a lot (like when that Microsoft douchebag was trying to show off his avatars feet and his arms were wigging the fuck out). I mean, compare Natal's painting demo to the PS3's ability to write very clearly and precisely.

Clearly neither are perfect, but I'd put money on Sony's being closer to perfect than Natal.

I hear Master Chief is single, or is he? Does he ever hook up with some in the Halo series? Did anyone actually pay attention to the story to notice?

Actually... he "dies" at the end of Halo 3. Then you find out he isn't dead and he's with Cortana in space. Weirder things have happened with A.I.'s so it's possible that he gets it on with here through some means.
