I think Ive seen them all before.. Still look excellent though. One of my most anticipated games of the year. Almost looking forward to this as much as Pikmin 2. ___________________

I like how its looking. A highyl anticipated game for me aswell, but I just won't be able to buy it this year because of lack of money. I'll deffinitely be getting it sometime in 2005 though! I really wish I had my Xbox right now though - my brother took it away to University with him, so I've got to consider buying another for myself.

I keep wondering to myself on HOW they can keep making these games look better and better. Yet they still manage to somehow. Because this looks amazing. I just got done selling my copy of Pandora Tomorrow because I am saving up money for a trip.  But hey, you have to sacrifice sometimes. 3vs3 or 4vs4 and better netcode than the previous and Ill be getting it. Either way Ill rent first to make sure it aint more glitchy Ubi crap. I dont think Ill be interested in any game other than Halo around Nov through next year though how could anyone be. ___________________

There gonna have multiplayer again they would be stupid not too. Its the only thing that made SCPT worth while. I think they need to do 4vs4 though in this one it couldve easily worked in the last. ___________________

Pffft. Check out the GI issue with Sam on the front. You can tell there's a BIG difference between textures and lighting between the PC and Xbox version. ___________________ The secular progressive movement(liberals)are ruining this country.

they really are trying to milk this game series as much as they can, aren't they? Every game looks they same, slightly revamped graphics and such, but other, same everything pretty much. While the first SC was something new, something not done much, something hardcore, the 2nd was something to be anticipated, something everyone would like to get, but this one? but what changes the gameplay? Surely not a all new weather system will make everything that much more difficult, and while snapping necks hanging upside down sounds fun, does it lengthen the game? does it make the game THAT much more fun? And improved AI? Now that is taking a step in the right direction, and so is the weather system too. But if they keep adding improvments to each game they come out with, doesn't it seem like they are going about this series as a trial-and-error type deal? I guess Im kinda inbetween Wesker and Linkami on this. On the one hand, I dont see anything super innovative about this title. On the other hand, I have absolutely no problem with the sequels coming out this soon. I mean, I dont see any other sequel coming out with a bigger list of additions than this. Besides, SC is an awesome series. And theres a fair amount of hype behind this title. Gamespot gave it their award for best PC Game at E3 2004, IIRC. And its only 3 friggin games. ___________________

The only reason I'm sort of arguing is because I don't see a problem with 3 games coming out within 2 years if the games are solid. It shouldn't matter. |

the only reason i am arguing is because there doesn't seem to be enough reasonable debates that go on these boards. Or really any different opinions on games that are actually being discussed, that sort of thing. I think that three games in two years is serious overkill..they could have done without Pandora Tomorrow and just worked harder on this one. But hey, if it sells and people like it, go ahead. I doubt it will sell more each new release, though. It's a high-profile series, I don't want it to pull a Tony Hawk. ___________________ Kung Fu treachery. |

I didn't enjoy PT very much because of the steep learning curve. And I absolutely adored Four Swords Adventure. But I'm not about to deny how innovative PT was. |
