It doesn't look like crap!!! Well many of you know that I was one of the people who was worried the Wii would look like crap on my HDTV. Well at first it did when I was using the composite cables, but now that I am using component I must say it looks really good. I am pleasantly surprised by how good it looks. Now don't get me wrong, it doesn't look nearly as good as the Xbox 360 looks, but it is still very nice. I don't know if it's my TVs scaler that makes it look so good (my TV scales all sources to 720p), or if it is just the Wii looks good. How does it look on your HDTVs? |

I play it on a 13-inch tube and it looks awesome! Sound's in mono though. I wish I wasn't so poor... |

Thats great. Since we have similar TV's, it sounds like mine'll look good once I get a hold of some component cables. |

A sharper image with much less color bleeding. The source is still interlaced though, so it won't look as good as component on a progressive scan TV. ___________________ Now playing No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep |

you know - ive seen the "whats the difference between composite and component" question about 84 times today. Somebody should really make a thread explaining the differences and demanding that everybody read so they dont have to keep asking it. I would make the thread, but i think daylahs will yell at me |

I have a 60 inch project screen tv, with progressive scan. So is it true that with the component cables it looks better than in HDTV? I dont know a lot about video/sound and differences in tv and quality. -PB ___________________ ![]() Wii ID Code = 7986 8502 2959 1742 |
