Again accusing a nation of funding Al Qaida? didn't we already accuse Iraq of doing that? ___________________ The Dragons are Gone! |

I said funding the insurgents. Not Al Qaeda. Do you ever say anything that's remotely intelligent? ___________________ "Do you understand the difference between dying for something and dying for nothing? Today I can die for something, my way, my choice." |

I'm all for it, neighbours should bind together and help each other, rather than someone from the otherside of the world that has no interest in the development of the region except for their own betterment. |

Way to go on deviating the subject on the fact that Al Qaida is the major insurgent group of Iraq. You seem to be good at this. ___________________ The Dragons are Gone! |

Insurgents and terrorists are not synonomous altough at times there tactics might be similar and we are the target of each. ___________________ "Do you understand the difference between dying for something and dying for nothing? Today I can die for something, my way, my choice." |

As for Zarqawi, He was the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq and he opposed the presence of United States and Western military forces in the Islamic world and opposed the West's support for and the existence of Israel. ___________________ "Do you understand the difference between dying for something and dying for nothing? Um, sure. Whatever you say. Just for heaven's sake, the word insurgents is what the British called us in the American revolution. ___________________ "Do you understand the difference between dying for something and dying for nothing? Today I can die for something, my way, my choice." |

http://www.army.mil/professionalwriting/volumes/volume3/december_2005/12_05_1.html And since my argument was that Iran was funding and aiding military supplies to the insurgents in Iraq, which is Muqtada al-Sadr's group, I'd say insurgents doesn't fall under Al Qaeda, but I will admit that I was being vague and should've said Al Sadr's group. Also, just because Al Qaeda and the sunni insurgents have worked together doesn't mean they're the same. Sunni insurgents have or may even still be attacking Al Qaeda in Iraq today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muqtada_al-Sadr
