Um. Same basic thing. And I'm sure there are pleanty of state companies/industries there as well, like in the rest of Red Europe. But hey if even the people in Sweden can see what a failing proposition it is, there may be hope for us all. |

Isn't Sweden the country where that movie director was killed by an Islamic terrorist for making a movie with a naked woman that had passages from the Koran about not beating women (or something like that?) shadowed onto her body? I remember seeing this on 60 Minutes. There was a huge conservative backlash following the incident where the center-right really clamped down on immigration policies which, prior to the murder, had been some of the most liberal in the world. ___________________ What would you do if you were stuck in one place and every day was exactly the same, and nothing that you did mattered?

Hahahaha, you Republicans don't know anything. The Moderate Party isn't conservative, in fact, it's more liberal than the American Democratic party. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderate_Party A win for conservativism this is not. The Moderate Party is liberal conservative, they may believe in free markets, but they also support education, healthcare, and the blue-collar worker. Also, Sweden's standard of living is one of the highest in Europe. The liberalization of Sweden greatly improved that standard since the 1970's, when they were experiencing economic recession. They've also managed to stay out of every recent war. Nyah. |
