I only skimmed through most paragraphs, but how does it make use of Wii's capabilities exactly, over say PS3 or X360? Oh, it also sounded incredibly boring :thumb:. ___________________ Now playing No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep |

Why would you play hide and seek online when there are already hundreds of online games where you play hide and seek AND shoot. Sounds like about as much fun as Virtual Sit In Your Room And Touch Your Peener. |

Well, Smash Bros. doesn't really take advantage of them either, but who's complaining? Besides, in this game, you couldn't use the flashlight correctly anyway.

While it's probably not real, I would absolutely love that, especially if they gave it a good physics engine and used the Wiimote for elebits-style interaction. ___________________

I think the night one would be pretty cool, but we'd have to have headphones, so we could try to get a sound system where we might be able to tell where people are. ___________________

There are a lot of possibilities for this, which could make it a lot of fun. Give it a chance, wait until we see some screens and stuff. Ideas for different modes and things are running through my head as I just sit here, but dinner's ready and we're having spaghetti, so I'll type them up some other time. |

It's fake. It would be sooo boring anyway. Oh, yeah, that would be SO fun to wait and count, and then wait for the other team to wait and hide. It's not like anybody could create an environment that would be versatile enough to allow enough hiding spots. ___________________ THERE'S ALWAYS GONNA BE ANOTHER MOUNTAIN... Most sports and racing genre games aren't really possible. I mean sure theoretically I could spend my life training to become a pro-athlete or drive 200mph on public streets but it's not actually going to happen for me. |

I always thought a hide and seek game would rule online. My friends and I do it on Halo 2, and it is damn fun. I hope this is true cause it would be so much fun. Brings me back to my childhood days. |

Me and my friends play a game called manhunt. Its basically hide and seek(in the dark with no flashlights), except when you find and tag a person, they join you in the hunt. The game ends when the last person has been captured, then that person becomes it and it starts all over again. It get interesting depending on what kinda of person you are. If you are fast then you can change positions a lot. If you are small then its easier to hide. You can choose to ally with the others who are being hunted, but if you stay in one spot and they get caught, they'll rat you out in a second, so you have to be careful. I'd love to play a game like this. If the environment is very open, but small enough that it wouldn't take forever for someone to find you, and even then you can just run or rat out other people who are hiding. This game sounds great. ___________________ ![]() |

We played Werewolf. Werewolf is basically backwards hide and seek, one person hides and everyone tries to find him. When he's found he chases after the people that found him, and the people he tags become werewolves--the last person left becomes the next werewolf. It's a lot of fun. |

I like the idea of a completely open-ended city. You ever hear of that French "art of movement" thing? I forget the actual name, but it's basically a method of travelling from point A to point B in as fluid, graceful, artistic, and direct approach as possible. you're supposed to move continuously in a straight line, scaling buildings and doing flips and such all the while. I'd find it smashing to see a game with a combo animation system good enough to recreate that and somehow utilise it. |

There's one person who's "it," and all the other people stand on one side of the "field." He'll say "pom pom poolaway" and you all run across. If he tags you, you are it with him, and you have to try and tag the others. Whoever gets to the other side is in for the next round, except this time, everyone who got tagged is it, so it gets harder and harder as you go. The last one to be tagged is it in the next game.

Sounds...interesting idea but I remember hide and seek in my young days and true, staying in one spot a long time doing nothing in a videogame will probaly...actually it WILL be boring. Instead they should introduce some kind of feature that makes you have to be moving from spot to spot after an expecific ammount of time. Say after a minute or so your location is reveal to who is 'it' or are 'it' in a map so that way you have to move to a new hiding loaction from time to time, maybe it let's you leave decoys so it keeps flashing as if you were still in that spot to distract the one trying to do the tagging. That would keep the game from been a stale 'stay in this place and pray you aren't found' kind of thing. |

Sounds like fun. ___________________ I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. -Thomas Jefferson, |
