For me, the entire concept of Luke's life being uneventful up until the start of E4 was part of the movies' appeal. Is he trying to destroy EVERY interesting facet of the series? |

If you judge it on simply the movies I could sorta see your point but there are alot fo great SW books and comics out there that far surpass the movies. |

Um, the original trilogy isn't overrated. The franchise was ruined by the new trilogy, which relied too heavily on cool action CGI scenes than the story that made its predecessor an instant hit. |
