The European Comic comes alive! Asterix the GAME! The hilarious European comic Asterix, is coming to a GBA near you in Europe! This may not interest many of the Americans here, I didn't know about Asterix till about a month ago. But now it appears he is going to have its own videogame. I would check this link out even if you've never heard of Asterix, it is one of the best attempts I have seen so far at 3D on the GBA. There are some bad screens but some look almost like a Playstation game.Asterix and Obelix XXL! |

Yeah, I saw the preview on IGN today, wow, those graphics are stunning. Probably the best I've seen on the GBA since Ozzy and Drix. The game didn't look to much of interest, but seriously, that is really pushing the GBA's limits. |

Wow...that looks amazing. I love Asterix books...I've read every one up until the new ones that popped uo 5-6 years ago. I should pick those books up. I'm gonna give Asterix and Obelix XXL on GC a go, too. |

To bad i havent heard of this before...It does look preety good for a gba game though.. ___________________ I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Obelix is my fave. I have an Asterix game on GB...the classic GB game by Infogrammes. I should give it a go again...I think it only has 5 platforming levels, but I found them fun. |

He's got his own theme park. Asterix and Obelix in brief: It's a classic series of French comics about some guys in a village in Gaul (that is, ancient France) which holds out against the Roman invaders soley thanks to a secret potion which gives super strength when drunk. Asterix is the short, skinny and wily hero. Obelix is his huge, fat friend who fell in a cauldron of the potion when he was a baby and has pernament super strength (and enormous hunger) as a result. ___________________
