New Mario Kart DS artwork...new karts?

Just take a gander at this picture:

Now, if you visit Planet Gamecube, you'll see that Donkey Kong and Mario also have different karts. Does that mean we'll get to unlock new karts and possibly even characters in Mario Kart DS?

Interesting. It may let you tweak the particular stats of your character without having to pick a new one. Fans of sucky characters may finally have an option.

Nice. I like them, it's very nice and original. I think they should incorporate similar items that pertain to each character's world to their karts each respectively. That's an awesome idea! I love the DK one, it brings back the good ol' days of the SNES. The vacuum also looks neat, very nice indeed!

I love it when I lose at Mario Party and the person who wins is Mario or Luigi (Mario esp.), instead of Mario and Luigi uttering "I'm the winner" they say, "I'm the wiener". Which to me is perfectly fine if the winner wants to call himself a wiener...it makes me feel like the winner.

I should've said "one freaking game." I never played it so I don't have an opinion about it one way or the other. But I DO feel that one game with a vaccuum shouldn't mean that that's his "thing" now.

mario's alternate kart is boring compared to the other ones. The vacuum kart is cool, the rambi kart is teh sex... Mario's alt kart has pretty much nothing to do with mario Frown

I dont' want a FLUDD kart, for example, but they could have been more inventive.

I honestly thought FLUDD was awesome. There's a lot you could do with that too. Use the propulsion to lift yourself over traps/hazards? Spray the road ahead of you to make the road slippery. Sounds like a lot of fun.
