My Best Buy is still selling Paper Mario 2 for 50 dollars. I'm doubtful it's going to drop 40 bucks in one day.

But I'm gonna end up driving there anyway to find out

They are all effective tomorrow, it's true. The same thing happened during the Circuit City blowout last year.

so um...I went to Best Buy, & not only did they not have any of the games I wanted, but no one there knew anything about it. I guess I'll just go again tomorrow & see what's going on.

when circuit city has their sale, none of the employees know that either. its the corporate people that know, cause most likely the employees would take advantage of it and wipe out the store before customers get the games.

like when I worked at best buy, we got first dibs on the DS before the store opened, so if we bought them all, then customers would have been outta luck.

If they didn't have any of the games today, they're not going to have them tomorrow either. It's a clearance sale for a reason... most stores are not going to have any of these games.

well like, the guy asked the manager for me & the manager didn't know anything. it seems like he would know. but yeah, I'll be going back tomorrow, don't worry.

yes, I'm aware. they actually did have Namco Museum for GBA, which I wanted, so if it's $5 tomorrow, I'll be getting that. they might've had MechAssault 2 aswell, I didn't check the xbox isle very thoroughly.

Also, the employees probably won't even know about it when you go there. It'll just ring up as clearance coded at the register. That's always how it is.

Exactly. Bring a list. If its like the Circuit City sale the games will still be marked full price. Just pick a game and ask for a price check and watch the reaction on the worker's face.

Last time I picked up a $49.99 marked game and asked the kid to check the price. He says "Uh...its actually $4.99." With a very surprised look on his face. There were actually several other people there the same time as me going through the game section with lists in hand and none of the employees had any clue what was going on.
