Nintendo should have a strong showing this year at E3; I'm excited, but whether it's awesome or not, I'm willing to bet 20 bucks that EGM bashes the hell out of it. ___________________

Sweet, E3 can't come soon enough. Although, I think IGN may be playing this down a bit, I expect them to show more than a 7 sec. clip for Rev. Also, this reads much better if you read it with this classic music! http://www.emp3world.com/to_download.php?id=61440 ___________________ Investors Business Daily on Obama "death panel":

Its a new Pokemon game for the GC. Honestly I think Nintendo needs to save some of its franchises for next gen. Although Reggie said Nintendo would develop new IPs for the Revolution's launch. ___________________ ![]() Quote: "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. you guys act as if they only have one more zelda game or anything left. all this saving till next generation talk is ****ing stupid. its going to be backwards capable and you know they will work on another zelda for the revolution if more, so why save it? |

^Exactly. I'm just happy I'll be able to play it eventually without ever having to own a Gamecube or pirate anything. And am fully expecting to be blown away. Thankfully not too much has been spoiled, so I think pretty much anything will be enough to please me. I'm also glad that that Aries thing happened now instead of a few days before the conference, because I've recovered from that now and I have fully accepted it's fakeness. I remember right before the GDC press conference I read this thread (that was fake) describing Nintendo's conference where they unveiled a Pikmin DS, Smash Bros. DS, and a whole bunch of other stuff, all to be online. When I found out that all Nintendo announced was Animal Crossing online, I wasn't as excited as I could've been. Regardless, I think this E3 will be cool, and I don't really care if Nintendo fully unveils the Revolution or not - I just want a few more tidbits released to let me know that yeah, it'll kick major ass. |

That was boring to read....cause you already know this.... ...oh and E3 is in 16 days, or 15 if you wait for the Nintendo Con, or 14 for Sony and Microsoft Con. ___________________ Mario's Bitch |

IGN keeps downplaying Nintendo revealing a lot of information on the Revolution. "We believe that Nintendo will choose to guard information on Revolution." "Still, we're hoping Nintendo will be less tight-lipped about its next console than we've predicted." Which really means they are using their media influence to "encourage" Nintendo to show more. Frankly, these statements are based on opinion and not fact. So while they may be true (and based on precedent they probably are), they may not be, too. Afterall, who expected the showing we saw at last year's pre-E3 conference? And remember IGN thought the Revolution would NOT be backwards compatible. ___________________ "Fact: Bears eat beets. Ha. I knew Nintendo's pre-conf would be on the 17th. I'll start making preparations so that all I have to do that day is go to school and then glue myself to the comp all night, sucking in the news. Woot! ___________________ dani tuga?

Well, E3 is going to be my deciding factor of whether to wait on a PSP or buy one now. I'm really hoping to see the hardware of the Revolution and PS3 so I can visualize what to get excited about. I can't wait, because all the gaming goodness followed by the midnight release of Star Wars in the brand new theater. Oh yes, this is going to be fun ___________________ ![]() |

I can't wait for the Zelda impressions. And possibly a solid release date for Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki. And DS Online! ___________________

WHat I would love to see the most this year at E3 is Nintendo stealing the show. Personally I'm already expecting Nintendo to show some secret titles for the DS and possibly the Gamecube, not to mention specs and more for the Revolution but I just want Nintendo to be the company that everybody is saying "That's where it's at." Nintendo needs that. They need to appeal to the audience and get them ready for the future. |
