Fun hack and slash combat with spells and some character customization, short game though, worth getting.

I went to Circuit City as fast as I could, after a quick stop at the ATM. I don't think I've ever walked that fast in my life, over to the video game section. To my dismay I didn't see any signage, any big bins of games. Nothing even marked down. There was a 'bargain bin' but almost none of the games in it were on the list, and they were only $15-$20 games.

So I asked a salesperson if the $5 Clearance Sales started tommorow instead... and they looked at me like I had three heads. They said they had just finished all the price-changes for the following day (which were very few) and they didn't see anything at all like that. My heart sank. I moped around a little bit and just went to check out the GameCube section for a minute before I left. I noticed The Sims was $5. There was no reason for that... it's not like a super old sports game or anything. Even the super old sports games were like $15.

I grabbed The Sims and, on a hunch, nabbed Gun Valkyrie on my way up to the counter (the first Xbox game I remembered from the list that caught my eye, I didn't see any other GameCube games that I remembered were on the list) and asked them why The Sims was only $5. They said it didn't sound correct, and checked the price on the computer: $4.99. My last resort... I asked if they could check if the price on Gun Valkyrie was right, the price on it was $29.99. She scanned it with the gun .... I held my breath ...... $4.99. I swear I almost squealed like a nine year old girl. I think she scanned it again too, I think she thought that she had re-scanned The Sims by mistake. I ran back over to see what games I could remember. Here's a tip: If you guys do go and try this out tommorow BRING A FREAKING LIST WITH YOU! I was freaking out because I couldn't remember what was on the list.

There is something weird about it, it's not like an official sale... maybe it's an error in the system or something, I don't know. Because some of those games are pretty new, like Disgaea, and many of them are still $30-$40. So I wonder.

Either way, you might have to kind of ask them to check the prices for you, because this is not like an official sale. I would go early tommorow because if this is some sort of error, it'll probably get fixed pretty quick.

I really really wanted Ikaruga, but they didn't have it, and my memory of what games were on the list was limited. So I ended up getting Gun Valkyrie and Crimson Sea.

Sonix, Crimson Sea better be good, I got it because you said you wanted it and I really didn't want to risk getting Dino Crisis 3.
