NightsB's E3 Photoblog Day 1

Hello internet!

Your favorite internet superstar is here, live, in beautiful(ish) downtown Los Angeles, California! Now, you may ask yourself, "Why is NightsB in downtown Los Angeles, California?" and my response is, "balls". Also, I'm going to this little convention for total nerds and dorks, which I am not. I've just gotten through my first day, and it's kind of overwhelming. But, after the jetlag disappeared I was pretty stable. Yeah... airplanes. Pfft, who needs them? I don't! But still, I flew into LA very early this morning. I got in about about 10AM PST, and immediately was assaulted by a gigantic bear that mauled me the second he caught my scent to the point where my clothes were tattered and my sense of security badly, badly bruised, leaving me in a feeble and extremely vulnerable state. I call him SS4Gogita. We met up with Cowface who was nice enough to give us a ride back to the hotel, after swinging by the convention center to pick up our badge holder things.

Here is another picture we took while on the ride to the convention center, which is, uh, my lap. Check out that ... arm hair?? Pasty white skin??

Bumm, the next couple of hours are kind of a blur. I guess I can mention a few other internet celebs from rival fansites that basically ignored my existence. I don't have pics of them! But I've met TheYoungPlumber, StrikerObi, Deguello, Johnny Metts, and I caught glimpses of WindyMan as he hogged Guitar Hero in their hotel room, and Bloodworth who was just kind of hanging out. All of these personalities can be found at the super amazing Wii fansite PlanetGamecube. Haha, psyche! It's not awesome! Also from PlanetGamecube comes MegaByte, who is staying in my room for the night, and I didn't mention in the above block because he's said more than 2 words to me and didn't act like a jerk, aside from Johnny Metts. So! MegaByte! Also, David Daytona is here with MegaByte.

I did manage to meet a group of people from, you know, my own site. Gogita took a few pictures here, so I'll get to that.

It's Deacon! On my phone ordering us pizza! WOW, SO AWESOME!

Rogue! He programmed the site, I think. I don't know what he does, really, but he's from some European country somewhere. Who cares? His laptop keyboard makes no sense!

Here's another one of Rogue, with me in the foreground hunched over something. Something awesome, no doubt!

Here's Xavius! Playing a Gamecube game! I don't quite remember what was going on, but I'm pretty sure I was kicking his ass in something. Also, he "surprisingly doesn't hate me." Take that as you will.

This is probably the only halfway decent shot Gogita got the whole night. He's useless, I swear! That's Deacon, Daisy, and Xavius, from left to right. Behind them taking a picture of Gogita at the same time (how original!) is Curtis, aka DaRtHkOrN. Not pictured: Danytoca and mohd. Because we didn't get any pictures of them that weren't the backs of their heads, so, sorry. :'(

So tomorrow is the big conference, eh? I can't wait to get my live updates from this website. And the chat. Because... I'm going to be doing the live updates. So, get pumped. I know I am!
