Looking for More Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Cards? We've Got Your Back (for Free)!

Posted April 12th 2012 by Adam Grayson.

So you've got Kid Icarus: Uprising, you've played around with the included AR cards, and you think it's the most significant technological achievement since man discovered fire. You just can't get enough of those little 3D figures fighting each other. You must have more cards! Well we're here to help.

People around the world want the Kid Icarus: Uprising AR cards, but they don't want to jump through the hoops Nintendo has set up in order to get the cards (or maybe they do, but they just can't). As of this writing, the cards are not being sold in any retail stores, but rather they're being given away with different publication subscriptions and video game events, so they're not exactly easy to get your hands on. At least... physically...

Various sites around the web have been scanning (or taking pictures) of the AR cards and uploading them online. Thanks to this, gamers can simply scan those images with their 3DSes, and Uprising will recognize them as if they were the real, physical cards. Then, of course, if players want to have the cards battle, they can just print the images out and use them as makeshift AR cards. Easy!

With that said, here are a few sites that already have large (and growing) collections of scanned Kid Icarus: Uprising AR cards. If you know of any other sites that have additional scans, or perhaps a more complete collection, feel free to let us know in the comments! Enjoy!
