The Expo continues! More gaming, more pics, and a cameo from the Mahatma himself!

Desiré: The lines for Nintendogs were ridiculous, but I made my way up there and played with a cute little bichon frise who I taught to roll over and sit up. A pretty cool game that will surely bring in a lot of non-gamers into the handheld world of gaming. They even handed out miniature Nintendog plushies if you were able to teach yours a trick. They gave me some sort of black lab pup I believe, but thankfully Jared traded me his pug for mine. I love pugs.
Jared: I wasn't able to teach my dog anything, or really accomplish any more than having them play tug o' war and rubbing their bellies. I was having a hard time concentrating, due to the presence of the man standing directly to my right...

Jared: And there he is! So close I could reach out and touch him. So close I could taste his scent. While in line to play Nintendogs I chatted with one of Miyamoto's bodyguards, a 5'3"-ish blonde woman in her mid-thirties who seemed quite taken with my jokes about throwing her across the room to get a lock of Shiggy's hair. What she didn't realize is that I was actually trying my best to get her guard down so I could do just that. I often considered reaching out to touch him with my bare fingertips, but I figured that would probably end badly.
Desiré: Before I started playing, I overheard the Nintendo people say that they needed to clear out a seat because, "Mr. Miyamoto is on his way!!" I quickly called Jared who was at the Fire Emblem kiosk to get his ass over there to get some pics. Too bad he was to our right and was facing some sort of camera, but he did sit next to me while I played so that was cool.

Jared: Okay, I curbed myself from touching the man outright, so photographing his posterior was the next best thing. You can't blame me because any of you would do the exact same thing in that situation.
Desiré: I love the hemline of his shirt...and the fact that taking a picture of it makes it look like we're preverts staring at Shiggy's ass.

Jared: This picture didn't come out too well, so if you're wondering what's going on, it's that Desiré is entrenched in a "bubble brawl" with some computer players, which I believe she won after two failed attempts.
Desiré: The newest game in the Mario Party series is really not any different than the past incarnations, other than the fact that it has more minigames. But regardless, it's still a fun non-thinking game.

Jared: And here's Desiré focusing hard during her victory battle. Why do girls look so cute when they're playing videogames?
Desiré: I look so intense here and it's just Mario Party!
Jared: Yeah, I think it's the intense glare girls get even during non-intense parts of video games. It reminds me of the look a kitty has on her face while tracking the movement of a laser pointer. It warms my heart in a condescending and Chauvinistic way.

Desiré: Getting a pic with Mario was harder than one would think. Everyone and their brother kept running up to give him a hug and snap some pics, so I was lucky to sneak my way up there to do just the same.
