End Boss Month: Day 4 (Super Mario Bros. 3, Bowser)

Posted April 6th 2005 by Eric Schwarzott.

BOWSER

Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES, SNES, GBA) 1990

After getting trounced a couple times already, this time Bowser enlists the help of his children, the Koopa Kids. They stole the royal magic wands from countries in the Mushroom World, turned kings into animals, and generally wreaked havoc. Bowser decided to wait until the end of the game to show up this time. Which is a good idea, since being so routinely defeated in the other games couldn't have been good for his ego.
