It's certainly been a blast sharing the internal guts of Melee, and now it's time to break a rule of the magic trade: we're going to let you in on all our secrets! Keep in mind, though, that N-Philes didn't come up with these codes ourselves, we just put some hard work into tracking them down, and you can do the same. Besides, brand new hacks that weren't even around when this article was written are still being discovered today thanks in large part to a few sleuths at GSCentral and ARCentral. And the glitches? Frequenting any of the hundreds of Smash Bros.-dedicated forums found on the web will reveal loads of fresh glitches not listed in this article. You can start with Smash Boards. And while I'm on the subject of SmashBoards, you may as well do yourself a favor and sign up for the countless amount of tournaments being hosted across the country as we speak. At the very least, you'll gain a new respect for Melee firsthand, as you get your butt whooped by glitch-exploiting melee-masters.
[All glitches listed below were tested and confirmed using Super Smash Bros. Melee version "00." If you don't know which Melee version you own, check the underside of your game disc. A code printed on the back reads "DOL-GALE-0-xx." The "xx" indicates the version of the game ("00" is the earliest).]
